How You’ll Make a Difference

As our next Home Care Worker, you will be out in your own community changing people's lives.

Day-to-day duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Travelling between client locations in your own area - we ensure that your clients for the day are in similar locations so that you can spend more time providing care, and less time on the road
• Supporting client medication as required
• Performing cleaning duties as required for clients who require assistance with these tasks
• Preparing meals and providing nutritional guidance
• Accompanying clients during shopping and/or social activities as required
• Escalating concerns for clients as necessary 

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Applicants MUST have Certificate III in Aged Care/ Individual Support or an equivalent qualification in Nursing (e.g. completion of first year of Bachelor of Nursing).

Other requirements for this role include:

• A warm and engaging demeanour when interacting with clients
• High-level emotional intelligence and effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Access to own insured vehicle for use while travelling between clients
• A valid driver’s licence
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations
• National Police Check
